Trick to lower down fever

As a first time Nanay, I used to panicked whenever my daughter got fever. My mother told me to just let my daughter take the usual paracetamol syrup which I did. But one time while browsing my Facebook timeline I came across a post (which I forgot to save) that caught my attention. It says there that if ever you kids got fever just take a cotton ball dip in alcohol ( I used Isopropyl 70% sol ) and put it on top of you kid's navel. For me it isn't harmful at all so I tried it when my daughter got fever. And to my surprise it was super effective! I don't really know the science behind this, but I am just fascinated that it was effective. I am not encouraging you all to just depend on this. Please visit your child's doctor for full check up. This was just based on my experience. Though after trying that trick the fever was gone but I was still worried what causes it so I went to her pedia and I was told that it was just a "viral" fever and that everything is normal.

How to Cure Mouth Sore

Have you ever experienced this painful white blister in your mouth? Mouth sores (luas in Bisaya, Singaw in Tagalog) is irritating because you cannot eat and drink water properly. It usually last for a week or two.
What causes mouth sores? I usually got mouth sores from my braces. When the brackets or the wires hit some part of my mouth it causes mouth sores. Sometimes when I eat and accidentally bite my tongue. But according to Singaw.ph mouth sores is often caused by the following:
·         Stress- stress makes the immune system deteriorates. It weakens the body and therefore makes a person vulnerable to colds and infections. Mouth sores by the way is one form of mouth infection.
·         Other serious diseases like diabetes. People with diabetes are prone to having mouth sores because of the presence of sugar in their saliva which triggers the growth of Candida Albicans Fungus.

·         Certain medications such as chemotherapy. Undergoing such makes your body weak and therefore prone to any forms of infection
How to Treat Mouth Sores?
When you try to search on Google the best cure for mouth sores it gives you many results. Some is helpful to some and not to others. When I got mouth sores just 2 weeks ago, I tried to do everything that was suggested on Google. Unfortunately nothing works. What works best is a suggestion from a friend- Dequadin Oral Paint. It cost around Php200.00 for a small bottle. In 2-3 days the pain is gone. Just dip the cotton bud and brush it over to the affected area. The taste is tolerable. It feels like an anesthesia. Its best for babies too.
